It’s the last day of Camp. And although I didn’t achieve what I thought I would, I am further ahead than I was on 1st April. Yay for me! Perhaps May will be the month where I make more progress and turn my rough first draft into the novel I know it can be. Wish me luck!
3 1/2 hours of research tonight. Oh, and I used Scrivener to get my rough manuscript into some sort of shape. Scrivener is brilliant. 🙂 I spent a couple of hours last night doing the tutorial, so I suppose I can count that as research too! Sort of. It’s an amazing tool for writers and I’ve only just scratched the surface so far…
20,000 words culled tonight. But now at least I know where my story is going, which I didn’t before! Yay! A few nights of binge watching Game of Thrones to catch up before the new season started put me waaaaaay behind… (Damn you, GOT!) but I’ve come to my manuscript with fresher eyes now and I need to put in some serious hours to whip it into shape!
Well, I had a lazy, binge watching (damn you, GOT!), chocolate eating Easter, but tonight I edited and killed many of my darlings…SOB!
Well, Camp NaNoWriMo is here! This time, instead of writing a new story, I’m editing my 2013 NaNoWriMo , “The Players”. Wish me luck!
